GetYourGuide’s coverage of Donegal is thin. There are no big coach day tours here as there are in Kerry or Antrim — the county is too remote and too spread out — and most visitors explore by car. What does exist is small-scale and local, and can be very good. Check availability carefully: several of these run only in season or on certain days.

Booking notes
- Coverage is limited. If nothing fits, local operators offer boat trips beneath Slieve League from Teelin, sea kayaking, surf lessons at Bundoran and Rossnowlagh, and guided hillwalks; book with them directly or through tourist offices.
- Weather decides. Cloud often sits on the cliffs and on Errigal. Keep plans loose and go when it clears.
- Glenveagh Castle tours and the park shuttle bus are booked on site with the National Parks service, not through tour platforms.
- For day trips starting in Northern Ireland, see the Causeway Coast and Belfast pages.
