Ireland tours & tickets

Our ranked best-of list, multi-day tours, and hand-picked experiences for every destination — all real, bookable GetYourGuide products.

Ireland is unusually well suited to day tours. The famous sights are scattered, parking at them is limited, and the roads between them are slow — a coach or small-group tour often gets you there with less stress than a hire car.

GetYourGuide’s inventory is deepest in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Killarney and Cork. It is thin in Donegal and Sligo and Mayo, where we say so and list what genuinely exists.

Ranked

The 10 best tours & tickets in Ireland

Ranked by how much of the island’s best they deliver for the time and money, and by how consistently travellers rate them.

#1 · Ticket from €37
🕒 About 1.5–2 hours ⭐ 4.7 📍 Dublin

Guinness Storehouse Entry Ticket

Self-guided visit through seven floors on brewing, advertising and the Guinness family, finishing with a pint (or soft drink) in the Gravity Bar, with its 360-degree view over the city.

Ireland’s most-visited paid attraction; a timed ticket saves queuing, and the rooftop bar has the best free view in Dublin.

#9 · Taxi tour from €44
🕒 1.5 hours ⭐ 4.9 📍 Belfast

Belfast Murals Taxi Tour

A private taxi tour through the nationalist Falls Road and unionist Shankill Road areas, stopping at the main murals, memorial gardens and the peace wall, with a driver-guide who explains the background.

A driver-guide who can explain the murals and peace walls is the most thoughtful way to approach Belfast’s recent history.

Booking tours in Ireland: FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is a day tour to the Cliffs of Moher from Dublin worth it?

Yes, if you only have a few days — but it is a long day of roughly 12 to 13 hours, most of it on a coach. If your route includes Galway or Limerick, take a shorter tour from there instead.

Can I visit the Giant’s Causeway from Dublin in a day?

Yes. Several tours do it in about 12 to 13 hours, usually with stops at the Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Belfast. The tour crosses into Northern Ireland (UK), so carry your passport and check that your visa or travel authorisation covers the UK as well as Ireland.

Are prices in euros or pounds?

GetYourGuide shows prices in the currency you choose. Tours operating in Northern Ireland are priced locally in pounds sterling, so the euro figure moves with the exchange rate. The prices on this site are indicative only.

Do tours run in winter?

The big coach day trips from Dublin, Belfast, Galway and Killarney run all year, with fewer departures in winter. Boat trips — Cliffs of Moher cruises, Aran Islands ferries from Doolin, Dingle and Skellig boats — are seasonal and weather-dependent.

Which tickets sell out?

Kilmainham Gaol, the Book of Kells, Newgrange and Skellig Michael landings are the hardest to get at short notice. Of the tickets sold through GetYourGuide, Guinness Storehouse and Titanic Belfast time slots and small-group tours go first in July and August.
